Chapel Pappacoda
Pappacoda Chapel, opposite the Oriental Institute in Piazza S. Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli, was built in 1415 by Artusio Pappacoda, noble Seat of Porto, Seneschal of the King Ladislas and Joan II of higher torques.
gothic-style chapel with a rectangular plan, was completely renovated in 1772. Very little is left of this rare jewel within. Keep only funerary monuments of the XV and XVI century, great altar of the seventeenth century and traces of the original frescoes painted on the late-Gothic style.
On the side of the chapel, the bell tower of the same Baboccio perhaps, a rare example of the bell tower of the beginning of '400, has retained its original features Gothic-Durazzo.
